Benjamin W. Light, MD, FACS, is a 1994-graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, IL. His postgraduate training includes his ENT – head and neck surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (1994-2000), as well as his facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship performed at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Dr. Light attained board certification in head and neck surgery with the American Board of Otolaryngology and in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Medical Association, the American Head and Neck Society, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the Alabama Medical Society, and the Morgan County Medical Society.
